once there was only dark

I wanted to draw this since I first watched True Detective.
I recently saw it again and it kicked me into gear.

This is the hardest I've worked on a picture in a long time.
I used the usual markers and pencil combo but with the addition of acrylic for the background.

I want to keep working on it, doing different versions to improve upon it.
Maybe in oils next time. Even though I have zero experience with them.
